Why we should get outdoors for some ‘Green Exercise’!

We love this post at Breast Cancer Care’s fabulous Vita magazine, on recent findings about the beneficial effects of getting five minutes of ‘green exercise’ every day.

As the magazine explains, researchers at the University of Essex have carried out the study and define ‘green exercise’ as any sort that’s done in the presence of nature. ‘Being outside in nature is important for both physical and mental health,’ Carly Wood, Research Officer in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Essex, told Vita.
