It’s also a good idea to layer your hats through the cold weather. We’d recommend something like our Kimmy style to be worn underneath to give you a soft layer next to your head, (avoid any wool sensitivity issues), and it gives you a base layer when you arrive indoors and need to take your warm outdoor layer off. Best colours to match up with Sybil are – Black felt with Black Kimmy; Jeans Blue felt with Navy Kimmy and Anthracite Grey felt with Cobalt Grey Kimmy. Kimmy comes in 12 odd colours so you can always mix and match with your favourite winter hat, if you feel the need for a little more coverage.
We manufacture many of our styles in our studio in Westcott, this means we can make them in S, M, and L sizes. The ‘High St.’ manufactures to a regular head fitting (56cms), so if you are experiencing problems getting hats to fit or hats to stay on, we can make for you. (Small and large sizes are kept as stock items in many of our styles.) We request that you enter your head measurement when ordering and we will ‘size’ the order before dispatching it to you. Our hats are hand made and hand finished, so there is always some slight variation between milliners!
