This stylish cloche is a close fitting felted wool hat for female hair loss. Super snug for winter and beautifully simple and elegant. A flattering style to wear with a definite touch of the 1920s. Our top tip for a warm, ‘itchy free’ winter is to layer your hats. Wear a soft jersey style (something like Kimmy creates a light ‘barrier’ layer) underneath your ‘outdoor’ hat, so that when you come in from the cold you won’t overheat. (Also a good idea if you’re ‘wool’ sensitive.) Nobody will know you’re wearing two hats if you tuck up underneath, and many of the colours in this season’s Kimmy range match up or tone nicely.

If you are thinking of layering for Winter the Dark Grey marl Emerson goes well with the Cobalt Grey Kimmy. The Chocolate Brown Emerson matches well with the Chocolate Kimmy, and similarly the warm Claret Red Emerson matches the Burgundy Kimmy. The style is cut nice and deep at the nape of the neck and you can wear the bow detail to the side over your ear, or slightly more to the front.

We manufacture many of our styles in our studio in Westcott, this means we can make them in S, M, and L sizes. The ‘High St.’ manufactures to a regular head fitting (56cms), so if you are experiencing problems getting hats to fit or hats to stay on, we can make for you. (Small and large sizes are kept as stock items in many of our styles.) We request that you enter your head measurement when ordering and we will ‘size’ the order before dispatching it to you. Our hats are hand made and hand finished, so there is always some slight variation between milliners!
